• First category is the interview worth 40 points.
• There will be three judges.
• You will meet and visit with each judge individually for approximately ten minutes.
• These interviews will take place the morning of the pageant.
• Second category is the talent / essay worth 30 points.
• This year you will have the option to either write an essay or do a talent.
• Both of these actvities will be judged the same.
• Those choosing to do the essay will meet a week before the writing to pick your topic.  This will give you plenty of time to think about what you would like to write about.
• You will then meet at the school to type your essay and submit it.  You will not be able to bring anything with you.
• This essay will have to be your orginal composition.
• These essays will be sent to the judges for them to read and score accordingly.
• Those ladies wishing to perform a talent on stage will be given times to meet at the school to practice their performance on stage.
• The judges will score their talent the same way they score the essays.
• Third category is the evening gown worth 30 points.
• You will be judged on your appearance, poise and presentation while wearing an evening gown.
• This is a time that you can dress up and let your beauty shine.
